This is a Victorian crescent moon stick pin that has been converted to a ring. Using the original stickpin, we made the band for the ring. We added a 14k rose gold star on the corner of the crescent.

Victorian jewelry commonly has a gold wash over the original color of the gold making it appear as a higher karat gold. Due to the work on the piece we gave it a satin finish because the gold wash made the color inconsistent on the moon, you can see that in the photos where it looks rosier on some parts and yellower on other parts even though the piece tests 14k gold.
