Returns on PayPal payments will incur a restocking fee of 2.9% of the purchase price based on PayPal no longer refunding their transaction fees.
If you are paying by credit card, the shipping and billing address associated with the card need to match. This is in order to protect our customers and ourselves from fraudulent activity.
Please convoy about sizings on vintage and antique rings because there may be constraints to sizing amounts. The first ring sizing of any purchase made over $300 is complimentary for the first full size up or down and takes 7 business days before shipping. Rings that have been sized by us can be returned as long as it’s within our 14 day return policy. Rings sized by other parties are final sale.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Items in stock ship within 24 hours, cancellations can be made within 3 hours of purchase.
Domestic Shipping: Insured shipping within the United States is Free. We ship all domestic packages via USPS first class mail for items valued $999 or less. Items valued $1000 or more are shipped USPS Priority Mail and must be made to a physical address with an adult present to sign for the package.
Shipping time has varied tremendously during COVID via USPS. If a package has not been received a claim may be opened after 7 business days to track missing mail. You may request an alternative shipping method but will be charged the difference in the shipping price. To file a claim, USPS priority mail express can begin 7 business days after ship date. USPS priority, insured and registered mail claims can begin 15 business days after ship date. Claims are made by the shipper and the shippee will be notified throughout the process.
Damaged Items via shipping - If an item arrives damaged, contact us immediately at and we will provide a prepaid shipping label. Once the item is returned and received a full refund will be issued.
International Shipping prices will vary based on the value of item(s) and shipping company. On international orders, the customer is responsible for all additional duties, taxes and/or tariffs that might incur. All international orders are shipped via UPS or DHL. All packages shipped by JewelConscious are fully insured for their purchased price. When your item is ready to ship, an email will be provided by GoShippo on behalf of JewelConscious containing your tracking information. GoShippo is a third party shipping company that secures and insures your shipment.
A 3 month layaway plan is offered and split into 3 payments with the first 1/3 as the initial downpayment. Please convoy to request it. If a payment is missed, your layaway is no longer valid and the item will be relisted for sale while your deposit is forfeited.
If you JC on Etsy, layaways are still made on due to Etsy policies.

We gladly accept returns within 14 days, exchanges within 30 days, and cancellations within 1 hour of your order.

Upon receipt of returned item in its original condition, a full refund minus the shipping charges will be issued.
As of May 7, 2020, PayPal will no longer refund transaction fees to sellers that issue refunds. Due to these changes, the 2.9% transaction fee will be incurred to the buyer if the buyer chooses to return an item paid via PayPal.
Vintage Item Orders
All vintage items that have not been made to order may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of receipt. If you are unsure about your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receipt to discuss the return or exchange. Customers must contact us prior to shipping returns so we can issue a no hassle shipping label.
Made to Order
JewelConscious made to order pieces are non-refundable.
We offer hassle free domestic return shipping labels but this is not available for return shipping on international orders. International customers are responsible for insured returned shipments, as well as all duties/taxes/tariffs that JewelConscious may incur by receiving the return. All items returned will receive a refund minus the shipping charges from the total amount.
All pieces that are vintage or estate are rated 1-10, 1 being the poorest of conditions and 10 being new. No vintage or estate piece will be rated 10, unless the piece has never been worn, 9 will be the highest rating referring to like new condition.
JewelConscious offers a free lifetime warranty on all of our jewelry against any manufacturing defects. If you experience any problem with your purchase, you are welcome to ship it back to us for evaluation. If we deem the problem a manufacturing issue, JewelConscious will repair the item at no expense to the customer. The warranty excludes coverage due to wear and tear and/or negligence subsequent to purchase. Within the first six months of purchase we will replace side or accent diamonds that go missing if we feel that it is a manufacturing defect. After six months of purchase all missing side or accent diamonds will be considered wear and tear and will be at the expense of the customer. Any repairs or work not done by JewelConscious will void our warranty. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle.
JewelConscious uses its vast knowledge to date each piece based on materials, construction techniques, hallmarks/signatures, overall style and cultural context. While dating and authenticity are not a formal science, we determine them to the best of our ability based on our knowledge, experience and resources. Some of our pieces are mounted in a way that makes it difficult to determine a precise stone’s grading. Diamonds and colored gemstones that cannot be removed from their vintage settings without harm to the piece are evaluated in their mountings using industry-standard measurements and formulas. Unless certified by an independent lab, such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL), stone gradings are done by us. Jewelry descriptions and all carat weights stated represent approximations. Mounted stone(s) is/are graded only insofar as mounting permits observation. Most colored gemstones (i.e. rubies, sapphires and emeralds) are often treated to enhance their beauty; some treatments may not be permanent and/or may require special care. Please email us for further details. All diamonds shown on our website are natural, untreated diamonds. We cannot guarantee that the color you see matches the item color, as the display of color depends, in part, upon the type of computer monitor used to observe the image. Pieces could go out of stock before we’re able to remove them from the site. Should this occur, we will notify you. We make every attempt to only show our users correct information. From time to time inaccurate data may be displayed due to system or human error. We reserve the right to correct any incorrect pricing as a result of the above, and will not honor any incorrect prices. Under no circumstances will JewelConscious be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, including negligence, strict product liability or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
