This Art Deco lavalier is beautifully carved with 4 oval Carnelian gemstones, most likely a Chinese exported piece. The sweetest part of the carvings are that they match the gold links that connect the stones. The cherry blossom links are the pattern repeated throughout the necklace. My intuition tells me that the entire chain was possibly cherry blossom links and separated from the necklace at some point, replaced by the 18k fancy link chain on it today.
