American Gypsy jewelry is extremely rare and highly sought after dating from 1900-1930. The way the gems are set in Gypsy jewelry has coined the term "gypsy set" by the distinct ⭐ pattern around the stone setting. The Gypsy's would wear their assets, usually in the form of gold. Much of it has been melted so finding an old piece has become difficult.

My mentor, Barry Weber, would always be searching for that rare Gypsy piece. I would admire his unusual collection, which included a men's Gypsy cuff bracelet and large star pendant, similar to the one in this image. The ring is from my personal collection.
