This ornate design features a Carnelian resting on the open wings of a peacock. The relief images are still discernible and crisp. The shank is an adjustable open shank that has been this finger size for a long time.
The Peacock was a symbol of the Ming Dynasty and represented power, beauty, and divinity. They are believed to hold magical power symbolizing compassion and represent the Goddess of Mercy.
