This is a fabulous bypass ring from the 1930's.

The deep rich yellow diamond contrasts so nicely with the deep rich blue sapphire. The mounting is beautifully handmade in platinum with baguettes and round diamonds pave set.

I have seen a lot of bypass rings, and this one is by far the nicest one I have seen in over three decades in the business of fine antique jewelry.

It is not bulky like so many others tend to be and has a graduated shank.

The prongs are delicate yet secure. The ring sits low on the finger.
