Fabulous Lapis Lazuli enamel and diamond ring from the 1950's. This bold blue stone is set in 8 prongs and framed by a cobalt blue enamel floral design.

The ring is a high dome with detailed green enamel flowers and an accent diamond in the center of each flower. In addition, the ends of the gold leaves have a bezel set diamond.

My opinion is that the lapis is not the original stone that was in this ring. The enamel is in very good condition with no visible chips under 10 power magnification.
