This is a fabulous Green Beryl and Diamond pendant. The green beryl is framed by a row of pavé set round brilliant cut diamonds set in 14k white gold.

What is a Green Beryl you ask?
Aquamarine, Morganite, Heliodor and Emeralds fall into the Beryl family.

What all these stones have in common are that the minerals making them must include a combination of beryllium, aluminum, and cyclosilicate.

A Green Beryl is the same crystal as an Emerald but it does not lend itself to be cut into a faceted gemstone due to the clarity characteristics. It almost looks like jadeite with the white mottling but the green is a deeper grassy green that you would expect from an emerald.

This pendant is made to hang on an omega wire necklace but can hang on any heavier chain as well.
